Spouse Open Work permit

My wife submitted the application on 27th of June, Biometrics passed on 1st July, Medical request on 29th of July, Medical passed on 2nd of August. We are waiting for passport request now. We did online application from India and currently the status is background check. So it has been 6 weeks, anybody else waiting with similar timelines ?
Hi.. My husband's employer is planning to move him to Montreal, Quebec. I have 7 years of IT experience but currently not employed from past 2 years, below are my queries:
1) Can we apply for his Closed and my Open work permit together and how much time does it take?
2) Considering my unemployment from past 2 years, will it lead to any rejection ?

My Wife applied for a SOWP on behalf on my LMIA application on June 12th from Canada (online).
Her Medical and Biometrics are already completed back in India when she got her Visitor visa.
Her application still shows as pending from 10 weeks now. The current processing time for a work permit shows as 7-8 weeks when submitted in Canada. Raised a query on the web form, but no reply.
Can someone assist on when can I expect a movement on my application?

Around 8 lac plus LIC policies of mor thn 2 lac.... how much did u show
Around the same amount. But trust me that’s not the actual reason. I have friends who showed lesser than 8 lac and got approved. I’m starting to think that the applications they’re taking more time on are the ones being scrutinized towards the process of rejection. It’s bad luck that’s all bro. But now you can appeal and reapply.
