Hi all-
for my parents- the status changed this morning to "We are reviewing the results of your medical exam" but we didn't do any medical exam yet because we didn't receive any instruction from CIC. Could it be that they are reviewing the exam results from Super visa time i.e. 5 years ago? I doubt it.

@robertp
The status changed for many of us who never did medical exam in the past. Most likely you will receive a medical request soon.

Looking at tracker, NewDelhi LVO is much faster than CPC-Mississauga.
They already requested medical and PCC whereas Mississauga has not yet requested even medicals yet.

That's cool. 3 days is fast.

So what's next now? PPR?

I see a lot of people in the tracking sheet have passed Medicals. I wonder why IRCC is not sending all these people PPRs. Any idea what's going on?
Background check should be next. PCC request and then PPR, I would say.
May be working in batches, it is still too early.

My cic account shows status updates "We are reviewing the results of your medical exam.", Though no medical exam has been given yet. Hoping to get the email soon for the same..

Hi all,

Just to clarify, a person is required to provide PCC for country that they stay over 6 months, except Canada. Is that correct?

If parents live in Canada on tourist visa over 6 months, they do not have to provide PCC?

Would one require a PCC from a third country (not Canada and not their country of origin) they visited multiple times, never more than 6 months together but the sum is more than 6 months in the last 5 years?

E.g. My parents visit my sister once a year, every year, for 2 months at a time. They are from Pakistan and my sister lives in the U.K. They have a U.K visit visa.

Thanks in advance :)

hi -

for those who come from China, may I ask how long it normally takes from the AOR for them to request for the notarized Hu Kou Ben? my parents are currently in Canada, want to see if I should get it notarized here or wait till then go back to china in October.

Many thanks.
