Had raised a web form for status and below is the most generic response I got:

AOR 21 st December 2018, even I got the exact same reply through email enquiring.

Could you help me understand the stages thing... where I can check which stage I am. I can’t see any such stage thing on my CIC Login account.

I experienced this in May and I’m still waiting. The only positive aspect about this is that your file has been picked up.

I was in false IP2 since AOR, got this update and status changed to IP1. Two weeks later it again got updated to IP2 which I believe was the real IP2. This is possibly the stage where your eligibility gets cleared and security is initiated.

Many people experienced this trend around the same time as I did. Now how long it takes totally depends as “processing times vary with each case”.

Can anyone tell me what the “not applicable” in the review of additional documentation means?

Hi guys. After many months of waiting, praying, calling IRCC, sending CSEs and consoling myself in this forum and thinking my file had been forgotten,........I finally received the golden email ...... and the feeling is amazing. My timelines are as below:

AOR Dec 23
Medicals Passed: 4th February. Then ................Looooooong silence.
Called IRCC after 5 months and was told my file was last touched in February and was told to call a month later.
Got 3 ADRs towards the 6 months. Submitted on the 7th day and a day after received 2 ghost updates. My background status changed to we are processing your background check. Then silence for almost a month.....
Then yesterday I received a 3rd ghost update.
Today, PPR.
So in total, almost 7 months to process.

I sincerely pray and hope that everyone here will receive their golden email. I know the wait is not easy but hang in there. It will surely come.

What is the status of background check as per your CIC account? Have you noticed any changes to the text.
