The IRCC agent that I spoke to said no need to provide unless on the letter states the words police certificate from Canada or RCMP police certificate.
Thanks for your info:) that saves me a trip to do the CPP, I was planning to do it on Monday.
You are welcome, glad to help. I was in your shoes two weeks ago so I remember what it's like..

I just replied you, you can click on the link to find out what PCC in Canada means. You, in fact everyone will be requested a criminal record check within Canada I believe.

It sometimes happen to me when i am using Chrome. Try another browser (i use firefox and it works) and it should take you to another page which you can link the application.
Thank you, that works in IE, the site did , but not able to link yet, might take up to 5 days as per the site. Thanks again.

If your ecas is available, you should be able to link most of the times. What is this message about 5 days ?
If one's ECAS available within 2-3 days when your application was received at Ottawa then one cannot link with CIC, as we know, some agent when they scan choose to publish on ECAS right away some choose to just scan it. Once the temporary file number is converted to actual file number only then you can link with mycic.

Sorry about that i misread the notification it was for Online applications. "Online applications: After we receive your application, it may take up to 5 days for you to see it in your account.", But yeah our ECAS was updated earlier on this week but unable to link , will try again next week.

On this link
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/campaigns/biometrics/facts.html

Permanent residence applicants
You’ll need to give your biometrics and pay the fee each time you apply, even if you gave your biometrics in the past for another application.

This explains why they are requesting biometrics again for those super visa or visitor visa holders who already got it done in the past. The link does not mention anything about location though.

guys I have a question, CIC did ask me to provide supporting document (missing signature) to complete the application, they quoted that once the application complete, they will process it.
Does that mean they already approve me as an eligible sponsor? or still not?
if not, anybody here know when they will response and how can I know that I am eligible as a sponsor? because I know they have to check my income before proceeding. Thank you

I saw on the tracker that your application was received on May 10 so there is high probability that you should be able to link right away.
Just ensure you use parents DOB, UCI and passport details. Also ensure you are entering the total number in application correctly i.e [You + co-sponsor (if any)] + [Sponsored person + Dependents]. Do not count kids.

No, they have not approved you unless you see "Decision Made" on the application.
Once you submit documents again, then wait for online status to see real time updates on your application.

IRCC ask you to provide IMM5669 form ( it is not supporting documents)

Does that mean they already approve me as an eligible sponsor? or still not?
ANS: they are asking to provide all missing form in you application before start processing. that does not mean your sponsorship approved at all.

ones your Sponsorship application at stage "Decision made" you will know its approve or not.

So when "decision made" they will send an email or how can I find that information? is that ECAS checking online using my UIC? Thank you

I just want to have a confirmation from them to make sure, I know the income requirement but just to make sure

so my parents are in Canada and the letter says they must leave Canada to take biometrics, I called the agents and they said no work around, your parents must leave Canada to take biometrics, for some unknown reason they keep saying you should not go to USA to take biometrics. When asking repeatedly why, the agents just say if you have legal status in USA such as citizens or green card then you can do there, otherwise you should go to any country that you can legally enter. I said they can apply for visitor visa, but they keep saying same thing. Nearest place to take biometric is Mexico city and it costs at least 3000 for 3 of us to go there for a day to take biometrics. Not to mention that not many direct flight there and most connect in USA which requires transit visa. Mexico requires appointment to take biometrics and the slots are not available all the dates so it is very hard to arrange a trip there, cost can be over 4-5K for direct flight for 3. So very upset with this burden, not to mentioned my parents just recently did biometrics for super visa.
