Try to order GCMS notes to track where exactly your file is and in what part of the process you are now. Try google “order gcms notes ircc” and it will direct you to canada.ca website as it won’t let me paste the direct link here. The result will be after 30-60 days though and you have to pay $5 to request it plus your PA’s signed consent is needed. I received mine last week, and it was a 52 pages report.

I know one person who is a November applicant and the file is also still in Sydney . When he called to inquire the call center told him that not all files get transferred ?
I have little faith in the info given by the call center but that was exactly what he was told

Once you cross the 6 month period, call CIC agent and ask them to drop an email to the officer and ask for an update

At this point only wait until 12 months are gone and then connect MP... that’s all what is left for us...

I've seen 'contact MP' on this board a lot - what does that mean? A UK MP? A Canadian MP?
