Let's take the worst case scenario, if draw doesn't happen today that's not the end of world too. CIC has their own way of conducting draws and it can be done anytime . There is no as such fixed timing to conduct it otherwise we could have predicted that too.

Let's be hopeful and keep checking the official site for real updates. You never know when you get a surprise from their end.

they claim draw must happen today and what if it doesn't? they can just go away and leave yourself disappointed

Depends on your university.

1. They are OK to send an email reply
2. They are fine with the email request and not wait for the hard copy.

If your university does this, then you should expect the ECA sooner, around ~20 - 25 days from the day your university sends a reply.

I honestly have no idea.. my entire process of getting transcript was seamless... Pay thru net banking, email details to institute...and they will do it.. but then they sent transcript through Indian post after charging 3K and it took 20 days to reach Canada...and when i contacted after secondary evaluation they are like "why are you contacted again n again... we got no mail from WES. shut up go away(not the last part )"

People practice about 10 Cambridge IELTS books for listening and reading.. and write 5-8 essays before the exam..

Have you guys tried CELPIP-General instead of IELTS? I found it slightly easier.

Call and check with your university..they must be having a generic mail ID like registrar@annauniv.co.in wes usually emails to them in that ID ask them to check and revert. If they say they have not received any mail from WES u can call up wes and ask them resend it. For every individual the wes mail comes from a different mail ID with specific ip address. The university has to respond back only to that Mail.

Yeah will have another round tomorrow... will ask my university hopefully they will be in good mood to answer. they act like touch-me-not pudica plant..dnt like being contacted..

Yea.. I have heard this too.. IDP and the other organization are making IELTS tougher because they are getting a lot of applicants.. Plus we now know someone who as taken CELPIP and can guide us

Worst case, ask WES to send the documents to your University thru a courier, it's faster with a tracking number and will cost you CAD 85.

Had done that, but cancelled the courier option as my university got the documents WES sent them the 1st time.

Sure thing, I've done them both so I'm happy to help.
I know IELTS rolled out an electronic writing test which would make it easier.
If writing and speaking are where you struggled I'd attempt CELPIP if you haven't already.

It's not only with your university...it happens with everyone..I took me one month for my university to respond....so cool they told they ll clear the mailbox once or twice in a month.

will have to develop thick skin for dealing with registrar office...

I don't think so. Ontario must clearly have a reason to specifically target these noc's.
