i am at 438.. can something like this happen, they ll pick 4000 candidates today.. again in 7 days.. again in 7 days.. and then i get a chance?
Possible?

From where does these many 450+ candidates come from? And where were they last year ?

Apologies for showing despair in a ROH thread.
My current CRS is 422 with Bachelors and almost maxed out IELTS.
Have a study permit for 1 year masters which would bring my CRS to only 486.
Planning to withdraw from program as by Dec2020, I am not confident of getting an ITA with that score

No worries man. Many are in your shoes right now. Quick one, you think that there are no other avenues to become a PR? say PNP post your one-year masters or getting a a job in Canada for years of experience which will definitely boost your CRS. Just curious!

No, It's customary to post this when you make the cut: "I have <insert score here>, still haven't received the ITA"
And then some one posts this with some funky font: "ITAs will be issued within 24 hours"

Today, I’m really hopeful that CIC will increase the number of ITA’s now onwards. Today's draw seems to be a game changer for all of us.

Not to forget, draw date always reminds me great folks names (mentioned below) who're always there to keep this thread alive and bring positive vibes with their amazing posts. Even if their turn has not yet come since their scores are below 450, but they're standing next to each other and faced the most challenging phase of ITA's so far. Respect!!

Undoubtedly, today's draw brings excitement, anxiety and hopes for many of us since we all have been waiting for FST draw from the last 4 weeks.

• Congratulations in advance to those who've above 458 score, it's their time to celebrate today
• Good luck to those who've 455-458 scores, they might be picked up today too
• Patience to those who've 451-454 score, they can expect their turns in the next round for sure
• Salute to those who've 450 score & below, they're the real fighters and they don't need any motivation since they're self-motivated and will never quit until they WIN

Start checking the below page from 6 pm onwards. The draw has been has been published around 7-8 pm IST in the past, but it may also go upto 12 am midnight.
