I talked to an ircc agent earlier this morning. I did not provide my UCI in the application package but she still asked for it and she could not locate the application using my UCI. And initially she refused to use my mom's UCI although I filled out a Use of Rep form. i insisted but she said she could not find anything using my Mom's UCI either. My application was delivered on April 30th. She was not sure why some people got their ECAS updated already while their applications were received weeks later than mine. She said as long as my application was delivered i should not worry.

Any thoughts?
My application was Delivered on May 7th but till date ECAS was not updated. As suggested by one of the members, I cald IRCC and they tried using my UCI no., nothing showed as its in very initial stages. Then she searched the system most likely with my name, then she did confirm that the application was indeed received on May7th. Its just that the ecas is not updated. So they do have another criteria to search in the system (by name or something) to find if the application is already in the system.

I just called IRCC and they confirmed they have received my application. They said I do not see any status (ecas) etc because they have not yet validated whether my application is COMPLETE. So all those who see ecas are safe in terms of completeness of application and the rest of us with "temporary" file numbers are still under validation it seems which is bit worrying
Only once you get AOR then the application is considered complete. Even those who can see eCAS status are under validation until they receive AOR.

Hello Guys

For Birth Certificate

I have got mine translated from a certified Canadian translator.
He has stamped the translation document as well as the photocopy.

Do i still need to get the notary certified stamp and certified true copy stamp ?

The translator is telling me that the certified translators dont require notary affidavit.
