City of destination

Hi All,
Very recently I got my PR to Canada through SINP program. Since, I don't know anyone in Saskatchewan Province I have selected the Capital city REGINA as my City of destination. When started searching for any knows faces in Saskatchewan I came to know my Junior working in Saskatchewan University which is in SASKATOON. Now, my question is Shall i move to SASKATOON as i got a friend to communicate and give guidance. But, in my COPR the city of destination is given as REGINA.Since, I am coming with my family does it create any problem during the port of entry if i land in SASKATOON instead of REGINA.

You are fine to move within your nominated province anytime. You may land in Regina and then move to Saskatoon any time you wish.

You will actually land at the first port of entry into Canada so seems doubtful if you are flying internationally other than from the US that your first POE will be Regina or Saskatoon. Regardless both cities are in Saskatchewan so once landed you are still heading for the province you signed up for.

Has anyone from this thread experienced the same? Can anyone share actual experience? In my case, I just received my COPR with Lloydminster City as destination. However, we may be landing in Saskatoon (from Vancoucer POE).

Hi i have the same issue..i plan to land in saskatoon but the destination mentioned in my COPR is Warman City. Will it be ok if i choose to land in saskatoon from POE? I hope someone with experience can help us.
