college cert/school wherever they all have name and yours
Hi Thanks so much,

so my school and college certificates has a different middle name for my mother from her passport.
First and last name is same , would that work ?

Does a affidavit would work instead ?

If you put residence in Canada, then you will not get Bio Metric letter but if they are not in Canada and go to VFS for stamping then biometrics will be required.
Just curious if CIC will know that they are no more in Canada.
The requirement to give biometrics is driven by the country from which one's passport is issued, not the country of residence. For some 2018 applicants, the biometrics requirement does not even apply as it came into force after their sponsorship applications were submitted. Unless you are talking about something else.

Good Morning All,

I have a question regarding Form IMM5768 - Financial Evaluation For Parents and Grandparents sponsorship.

I am single and sponsoring my mom and dad.

However, last year I also signed a statutory declaration for my cousin sister's visitor visa extension application. The reason she needed extension was that she was pregnant and could not travel until giving birth to her child.

That statutory declaration basically stated that "I" take the responsibility to make sure that my cousin would return to her home country before expiration of her extension.

So my question is - "Does this declaration make me financially responsible for my cousin as well"?

In my opinion the answer is "NO" as I have not filled any sponsorship form (IMM1344) for her. She is not a dependent on me.

Please provide a second opinion regarding this.

I appreciate all responses in advance!

Have a great day!

I just checked the status,
GC Key - Medical passed & BC in progress
PR Status on ECAS - Decision Made (last time still in progress with medical received)

So does it mean it will be approved soon? Will receive the letter for passport to stamp visa soon? Thank you

Anone else stuck at medicals and background check since february?
Me. Medical was done in April but my dad was asked to redo it again. He has done it but still waiting for reports.
Regarding background nothing was mentioned in gc key account . Only medical was asked. When do they ask for background?
