I have called IRCC after my medical passed and they have informed me that my Background check hasn't started yet. Then after two weeks, I got ghost update and DM on ecas system on the other day. I am not sure what the details are.

Ordered GCMS notes on the April 24th 2019
I have not had any updates since Pre-Arrival letter and i am not sure if the medical will be extended. I have called the contact centre and they do not seem very helpful.
I am hoping someone in this forum is able to understand what is going on. Any opinions/analysis of the trends will be most appreciated.

What did it say on your gcms notes? Medical wise you’re good until next month. If you’re at final stages according to gcms notes, then hopefully they will extend your medical.
You’re feb 2018 applicant, let’s hope for the best as 2018 applicants started getting PPR already
Thank you for the encouraging words. I have not received the GCMS notes yet. According to the message I got, it takes 30days from order date and I ordered the notes 24th April 2019 so I’m a guessing I should get it in 2 weeks time.
