I just spoke with CIC agent and they said my PR has been approved and it's in staging. I did not see any updated status online nor any email. Does anyone has idea how much will it take to get update online?

Better have it that not, specially since it is not a document you get fast. Mine expired and I applied and sent a new one to avoid delays if ever they request it.

How did you send your new police certificate, by mail or online upload to the my CIC account? If you sent it by mail, where did you send it?

I applied through an agency, they say they perform a coloured scan copy and send same online. I guess it is on the cic account. It takes 1month to issue the certificate in my country and cic takes their time to verify authenticity of uploaded docs so add that and it’s an average of two months waiting

I also updated my PCC last month myself just scan and uploaded to CIC account

Maybe it's a good news for everyone here. I called CIC today. My security's been started May 1st...I think this is the last step.

Application received Aug-31, 2017
AOR Dec-04, 2017
MR April-16, 2018
Pre-arrival April-17, 2018

I received GCMS notes at the end of Feb, 2019.
Everything's passed except security not started.
The last updated date is Nov-30, 2018, paper file, location: PS-. I have no idea what it is.

At least someone's really working on it now.

Hi！we have almost exact same time line except I applied on Feb.2018, I do not think we need remedical now until we got request from CIC to do that.

Hello Everyone,

I have applied Quebec immigration in October 2013 got acknowledgment letter in April 2014. I got My CSQ certificate in August 2016. Due to some reason i did not apply for further process? My Quebec certificate is going to expire this year in August.
Can any body tell me what forms and document i have to send for federal now?
And how i can see my status online since i applied paper base.
Please advise?

You might look on GC key for your application details. It might still be background check ongoing
