I have this new update under the PA's ECAs since yesterday. It reads

We started processing XXX application on April 23, 2019.
Medicals are done, biometrics is done. Can anyone assist what will now be the further step after this

I had s ghost update a month ago and am still yet to see anything happen.

Yes, me too, ghost update on March 27th, but nothing has changed, nothing has been done, including still no correction on my step daughter's surname on her medical request.

Hrm! Well, it's absolutely a sign someone was in your file doing ~something~, even if you haven't heard anything directly, which should be of some (small) reassurance.

@FVPupnorth I really feel for you -- it seems like a real nightmare for anyone who has a problem or mistake that makes them depart from standard procedure. Hopefully you hear something soon.

If I log in to CIC On line services

Under the Sponsorship Application Status, Its showing "Decision Made" and if i click it, It's showing

1. We received your application to sponsor on January 31, 2019.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on March 26, 2019.
3. We started processing your application on March 25, 2019.
4. We sent you correspondence on March 30, 2019 about the decision on your application. (and email says its approved)

But Under Permanent Residence Application Status, It's showing "In Process" and if I click it, It's Showing

1. We received application for permanent residence on January 31, 2019.
2. We sent medical instructions on March 29, 2019. To avoid delays, please provide us with the information requested as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
3. Medical results have been received. ( Medical was submitted on 2nd April 2019)

In between on 26th March, 2019 i got an email of paying Biometrics fee, i have already paid $85. But still i haven't get any feedback from IRCC when and how to give my biometrics.

So please anyone help me what does it means, whats would be the next step?
Where application is lying?
How long does it takes to get my visa?

Please it will be a big help for me.

The approved letter means your sponsor has been approved to sponsor you. Doesn't mean decison is yet made about applicant. Biometrics payment request letter comes shortly after the medical. And the appointment letter for biometrics will come once they are about ready to start the criminality and security check. So not having that yet likely means they are doing another part of your file such as eligibility assessment, that's good though as it's the one that takes time. Once you got a letter saying it's done they would then start the criminality and need your biometrics.

Also, did this come as an email as well or it just updated on eCAS with no advice?

I don't have idea about all those steps. But I heard CPC-M, is fast and we have experienced it too.

What I don't get is I just called immigration 45 mins ago. They said they are processing applications that were submitted Dec 7. Once those are done they go onto Dec 8 and so on andndo forth. Mine was submitted and received Jan 28. So when they told me this I thought about yours and how it was submitted 2 or 3 days after mine and already your near to be approved. Nothing people tell me makes sense and its frustrating

We applied for TRV but it was after SA, MR, BR but it got rejected 2 weeks ago, didn't impact our process at all. But we applied to attend wedding function, they weren't satisfied that PA will go back to home country.

Yeah it was changed on April 23rd that they started processing and got decision made and PPR on same day.
