I wasn’t aware of this restriction, can you supply a link to where you found this information? Everything I have found just says you need to enter through an international airport or Canadian land border and doesn’t mention any exclusions when arriving by air.

From what I have seen throughout the forum it varies. My PPR and arrival services all came in one email and DM showed in ECAS the next day - hopefully yours updates to DM over the next few days.

Don’t take much notice about the “background check” or “eligibility” in GCKey. That will continue to say in progress right up until they have received and reviewed your passport (or in our case, photocopy of passport)

Personally I would just reprint, resign, redate and reapply. Best not to give any reasons to be re-returned.

I check both but find ECAS more useful for advising what is actioned. GCKey I find valuable for receiving any emails/advice. Eg. ECAS tells me I have DM but GCKey hasn’t been updated since my medical.
