I ordered notes and they are 19 days overdue, so I decided to call to get an update, and all they told me was one of my background checks is started but not completed the other hasn't been started and once they are done then eligibility will be finalized, this confused me even more as to where my application is at, with 51 days left.

I just order my notes, maybe is also time to give them a call again.....
Did you tell the agent you requested the GCMS notes and they were delayed before you start to inquiry about and update status?

No I didn’t mention the Notes at all, maybe I should call and play the sympathy card with notes being delayed

Just give a few days from your last call, because they have a record of your calls.....

Since your background did not start and you have 59 days to go, i would request the GCMS notes now. Is free for inland applicants. And you can request again if you need.

They will ask for your Application number, Full name,DOB, Address on file. Phone number to call within Canada 1-888-242-2100

Unfortunately, I am not an Inland applicant.
What are the options available for me? Else I will wait one more month for the updates.

It is your application: you should have full access to everything. Dont worry about that~ However I waited almost 40 minutes to speak to an agent so make sure you have time and patience...

If you have any friend or relative living in Canada, they can request the notes for you.
