They rejected about 400 candidates before inviting. Someone posted the counts before as 26000 people invited

u got it right. They will weed out 7k. Theres no way they will invite all 27000 as they dnt have those kind of financial resources

No there is no FIFO for the next process. What they need to explain is whether they are only going to process the first 20K from EOI and then process the 20,000-27000 as spaces come available or will they process all 27000 having anticipated that they will end up with 20000 in the end. Not sure what happens if they end up with more than 20000. Maybe they will take everyone even if it goes over 20000. They may be changing their strategy given the polls.

I just received my invitation letter. I was filling out the application and need help for part 3 on form IMM0008. Is it asking how many family members, including you, are in this application? I am applying for my mother and my husband is co-signing the application due to income tax cut off. So in the section do I write 2 (as in my mother and I) or do I write 3 (my mother, my husband and I)?

Can you share your confirmation email time, please?

Do you guys know any workaround to parent's marriage certificate? My parents don't have one as they never got one made in India 40 years back. However, they have each other's name in the "Spouse" section on their passport. I am not sure if they would accept the passport as proof and I am afraid if they will end up delaying or rejecting my application. Any personal experience that someone can share on this topic?

I am in the same situation. I told them to get an affidavit.. May be that's enough..

Agreed I just counted, total invitations are 26612 means they removed only 388.

So all are invited, it s good but I didn’t get it
