Also did you notice CIC or IRCC didn't posted the invite news on any of their social media channels yet. Possibly to avoid all complainers lol. Good move.

According to the link you shared, you have to put her “first name” in the “last name” and leave the first name blank.
You can try it, if with leaving first name blank it still does not let you validate then you might need to check with IRCC.
I have the same case but haven’t started the forms yet.
And you can include a letter to explain why did you put given name in last.

right.... from what I've read here today. Someone was declined due to incorrect household number. so let me re phrase; not everyone. I guess if your name didn't match the id you uploaded. They will decline as well; what else was on the invitation form; I forgot.

I just checked my confirmation number and got invited for the first round. Email will come in a couple days...

- Regarding co-signing the application, Can my grandfather co-sign the application for my parents.
- If I have three family members back home; Father, mother and sister(dependent). Can i apply for one member or do I need to sponsor three of them together ?
No i did not. I will check. But there is no email as of now.

When we submit interest to sponsor our parents back in January 2019. the form said it only include
- yourself
- your spouse or common law partner
- your dependent children
- your spouse’s or partner’s dependent children, and
- any other person you and your co-signer may have sponsored in the past, for whom you are still financially responsible
But according to the link below, it said different. So I'm a bit confused too.
