Hello,

I am sponsoring my wife for Canada PR. My question is about the following forms:

Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking (IMM 1344)
Sponsorship Evaluation and Relationship Questionnaire (IMM 5532)

These 2 forms are required to be signed by both of us(sponsor and applicant). Do I need to sign these, and then send to her by mail for her to sign? Or can I sign, scan, and email to her for her to sign? (Do both signatures have to be original, or is scanned ok?)

Thank you

I have another question as well. I am helping her fill out her forms, and right now specifically imm0008enu_2d. It asks us what is her current occupation. She has one, but it's for cash and not taxed(working on a farm). Should I even put this or just say she doesn't have an occupation? Also it asks us about *Intended occupation, which I assume is asking what she would like to do if/when she comes to Canada. Is this the case? If so, she isn't sure what she wants to do or if she wants to work at all. What would be the correct answer for this question? Some things on these forms are quite vague.

Thanks in advance

Clearly explained in the guide.

Signatures

If signatures are missing, we will return the application without processing it.

Note: IRCC will normally accept forms with photocopies of signatures. However, you may be asked to provide the original copy of your forms with an original signature if an IRCC officer determines it is necessary.

She needs to put her current occupation, regardless of whether she is working illegally or not. Hopefully she is not illegally working in Canada.

She can put whatever she wants for intended occupation.

No, she lives in Thailand and hasn't been to Canada yet. She works on a farm with her family.

But thank you for explaining the signature part, I didn't see that listed anywhere. Knowing that they can accept photocopies of signatures will save a great deal of time.
