I also called them...My application is in Sydney, Nova Scotia...I don't know if that's good or bad. They confirmed everything is okay.
I think you are one step further, even your AOR is later than mine. Makes sense to think if your application is in Ottawa, I think they will ask for your passport soon. Just supposing...

I applied in December 2019 and i am waiting like everyone here....(this wait is killing me! No more new, ghost updates.....nothing)
I just became "common law" with my boyfriend, he is Canadian.
If i notify CIC using the Webform, will they suspend my application and make me reapply through spouse sponser? Or this will be just an update since i have a on going application?

No movement yet...the only thing is that the timeline is counting on days now...60 days estimated time.
I am hoping to get some news this week or next week. I don't know why they are taking so long.

Hi, they will not suspend your application. Since your boyfriend is Canadian this will not affect your application, it will just be an update to your information and the application will continue with no problem.
The waiting time is very long. Let's hope that by the end of this month and next month december applicants can start getting responses.

Yep, i sent the email to my VO(Ottawa) yesterday, now the waiting game continues! I simulate on the tracking all my possible dates.....all the average dates put me getting the PPR in April. (April 06th, April 15th, April 15th again and April 22th)....so yeah, hopefully by the end of this month we will start to get good news, fingers cross!!!

Yes. My Background check is in Process. I had called them on Friday. She told me Everything is Ok. Only background check is in Process.

Medical passed Feb 1st. Last time I called CIC criminality was in progress, eligibility and security not started. Application is being processed in Edmonton. Anyone with similar timelines and office?
