Do you know how long is the processing time for the CEC application? I thought it was for a duration of 6 months

They say they process 80% EE application within 6 months, but any can fall in to that 20%. I have seen people waiting for 9 months.

IRCC claims they process 80% EE application within 6 months period, but you never know we could fall into that 20%. I have heard people waiting for 9 months. I invite you to read the other forums especially the Express Entry one, there are so many posts, and you could find interesting information of other applicants. I have learned a lot while reading what people comments everyday.

Yes I did in January, it is also on hold, I called last week to check and they said they haven't even gotten to the January applications they are still processing the Bridging WP applications that were submitted in December.

they are taking more than 85 days to process it =/

No news so far...and my application shows 56 days left. Hopefully, I will get PPR soon.

Yep!I Is very stressful! Kind of hard to disconnect.....i am always thinking about that. My back is so tense that i might book a massage! lol seriously, no joke! And i am driving my boyfriend nuts! He is a saint!!! lolol

I am in the boat as you and had been stressed since couple of weeks. Especially when you know the golden email is just round the corner. However, the best remedy is to just keep yourself busy. We are 90% through the way guys. Just another step any day soon.

Hi guys, I agree with you all "the waiting process is very stressful". It could have been much easier for us if only they frequently updated our accounts with clear and proper details. My status is now showing 52 days and I haven't seen a change in 3 months. It's very frustrating.

Yes! everytime I get different answer...will try calling them next week!

Hey everyone,
I applied for my PR application under CEC back in december 2018 and I haven't heard back yet.

I called and emailed, they said my background check is taking long. I am on an implied status, my healthcard and work permit expired and the application is still under process and no one is giving me any information

Is anyone in the same situation as me?

I hope you have already bridged your work permit.
