What was requested in RQ?

School transcripts , employment record, bank & credit card statements, Health claim summary .

I should’ve submitted the school transcripts along with my diploma as a language proof. Not sure if it’s relevant or not. But my friend submitted more than what was asked (including tax assessments and transcripts) and she became a citizen in less than 7 months.

Even Montreal office slow..since 2 weeks slow no sign
Sorry to hear that. Hang in there. Hopefully we will all be Canadian citizens before the federal election. Fingers crossed.

Hi,

I am Sep. 19, 2018 applicant. I received AOR on Dec. 21 and IP on Jan. 8th. Since then heard nothing. I also requested for the urgent processing. I am from Waterloo. Anyone in the same boat?

I see many October, November and even December 2018 applicants already received their test invite. Just was wondering if anyone knows how is their processing. My guess is that it depends on the location and also nationality. I know for the USA to receive a visa, they are picky on the level of education as well and impose very long background checks on highly educated people. Not sure if it is the case with Canadian citizenship as well. I cannot think of any other reason why some get their citizenship in 4 months, while some other have to wait over a year! Oh forgot the fact ... "Luck"....

Do you know why they issued RQ ? what was the reason behind it ? may be something happened during the test ?!
