Ummm… LVO is permanently busy / backlogged I am afraid. One of the biggest and busiest of all Canadian offices. Expect to wait for a few months yet.....

Our file transferred to LVO in July/2018 and haven’t heard anything since then ! I don’t mean to depress u but I would say to enjoy ur life for the next 5-6 months without tracing / thinking about ur file !

Wow ! So u pass the one year limit !! Is it inland or Outland ?! If I was in ur shoes I would consider contacting MP !

I was so happy when they transfer my file to mississauga but after receiving email yesterday it such a headache! I already did my medical here in canada looks like i will be doing 2nd medical

I am for the most part as I found a thread on the forums on what to expect when to land. I've been doing some research for what docs hubby should bring but if you have a link that I can refer to for more info, it would be very helpful!

Oh I have just the thing for you then!

All your hubby needs specifically to land to declare PR is his passport and both copies of the CoPR. You will also need the 'goods accompanying / goods to follow' forms for customs. Note that it is a two desk process, the first for your hubby to declare PR, followed immediately by another desk for your goods, then off to arrivals to; collect luggage and get a Timmies!

I suggest you should try contacting them i read people in other thread saying their file got lost but after contacting them they speed up the processing.

I did contact them in Feb ! And all what I got is that normal processing is 12 months and u are not pass that yet !!
I don’t know how to word this but it is overwhelming! They didn’t even start our BGC ! Our application is very straightforward we have been together for 10 yrs then got married and had a beautiful wedding w both of our families ! We are only 2 yr apart w same culture/religion/language! We even look alike !! So frankly speaking I have no clue why it’s taking too long to evaluate eligibility!

I know sometimes they close at 4PM and we could wait to get the SIN but I'd rather just do it while we're there if we can!

It will only take you 10mins to process SIN in airport i remember last year when i accompanied my step daughter and my daugther we arrive at pearsons around 3pm (people are nice and very accomodating) and you get SIN straight away.
