Hi..
I have few questions. My application was received on January 28 and Aor on March 11, 2019. March 12, 2019 I received an email that I have been approved. Same day medical request was issued.

What is the next step and how long should I expect. What does SA letter means and when it would be transferred to the respective visa office/

Outland spousal application india
Hi, Congrats!
SA letter means the sponsor has been approved to sponsor whoever it is they are trying to sponsor. Next step is they start process the PA's application for Permanent Residence. The order of steps beyond this can vary and so can the time it takes before the send the file to respective visa office.

Hope this helps!

Gcms notes. To do or not to do? Kinda bored with no updates since few days.

I remember ordering gcms for free for my pr. Is it still free?

You applied this January and you already want GCMS notes? Complete waste of your time, don't bother. You literally just applied.

October applicants are getting Decision Made a month after their files had been transferred to Mississauga. To get GCMS notes takes at least a month. You'll get you DM faster than GCMS notes. Just wait.

Received email this morning stating that I've met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor.

My application was delivered January 31.

It is always free but it’s not worth it. It’s not only giving them extra workload To delay everyone’s progressing time, but also takes 30 days to get. By now your notes should be pretty empty with nothing written on it anyways.

Also if you check on the the treads from November you would know cic is currently working on their cases. Our cases are two months behind them and even December applicants are still waiting.

I actually called CIC last week and was wondering if my application would be returned because the signatures were not original and they were scanned. The office said that it won't be returned because of that reason, I asked if I can send in the original forms since I have them now but she said it's too risky since one is ahead in the queue and in case if they send the document back for any other reasons the second document would be just floating around. I think you were lucky and it turned out fine but the officers don't suggest it
My issue wasn't that they were scanned, it was that it was an esignature; and what I did is exactly what they told me to do, so I don't think it was any type of luck...
