What does the email say? I mean like what are the instructions for the PPR? I'm just so curious to know! lol

It's quite long so I'll just give a brief ~ depending on your country they ask for your passport (visa required to travel to canada) or a photocopy of your passport (eTA/US citizens) to be sent to them, as well as 2x passport photo's taken within the past 6 months. If you're outside of Canada (like me) then I had to email them and they will send me info about where to send the documents (my local VO). If you're already in Canada then they provide an address for you to send them to.

Hi there,

New to the thread but applied in November from England for my husband and thought someone could shed some light on biometrics.

We received an email about paying the biometrics fee on Feb 22, 2019

We uploaded the receipt the next day when we paid.

We haven't heard anything regarding biometrics since.

He had a request for his medical shortly after and went to the apt and they have received his passed medical "test" and its now on his file, but still no news on biometrics

Has anyone gone to get their biometrics done? how long did it take to hear between payment and request?

Medical done: Feb 22
Medical passed: Feb 24
File transferred from Sydney, NS to Mississauga : 27 Feb 2019
PA is in India.

I'm wondering if my file would be processed in Mississauga or would still get transferred to NVDO ?

Did you receive confirmation that the receipt has been forwarded to the agent working on your application after you uploaded it?

You should have paid the fee at the beginning and included it with the checklist as the UK requires biometrics, this would have stopped the biometrics stage being delayed. I'd contact CIC to confirm they've received the receipt and ask them when the collection letter is scheduled to go out.

You can contact them on +1 613 944 4000 in the UK. I used 0333 232 3232 to call using your inclusive minutes on your mobile plan. Thursday / Friday are the best days to get through.

The sponsor gets an email stating the file has been sent to the VO. The PA will (should) then get an email when they've received it, this is AOR2.

Yes it's from Mississauga. We didn't ever get a message to say that it had been sent to Mississauga but I got AOR2 on March 1st on ecas.

Hi all, I got a request for police certificate for the country I live in. And my country can only mail the cert to IRCC via register mail. My question is, how do I know when IRCC receive the cert? Can I send them the receipt to make sure IRCC knows the status?

It’s tough to say, I’ve seen instances where Indian applicants are fully processed at Mississauga. Yet others are finalised in NVDO...

You’re unfortunately at the mercy of the agent now.
