It's officially a year since I submitted my application. My medicals expired in December and my online application still says "you do not need a medical".
At this point I don't know what they need from me. My blood type? A kidney? Soul of my first born child? Who knows

1 year and 4 days here...medicals expired a month ago...they have replied to my CSE, they will ask if they need me to redo them, BUT if i didnt get a request i better contact CIC....weird and no idea either
Almost a year since I submitted my application AOR March 19th 2018.
Going through a very rough time with this, My passport and work permit are both about to expire (May). My country of origin is going through severe crisis and sending passports extensions or renewals is not on the priority list for the government. (Waiting since December).
Still no movement on my PR application, I've been calling pretty much every 15 days to check on my application, 2 reminders (December 28th and Feb 11th) have been sent to the Sydney office to get the application reviewed with no results so far.
Very frustrating, I am completely settled down in Canada, working, paying taxes doing everything right since the beginning. Hopefully, I get some news soon.

If you have sent everything that was mentioned in the agent’s comments, don’t worry. You will be approved. I know how frustrating it is to be waiting for news every hour of every day of every week for months. But you will have good news soon.

I applied for BOWP last year, I have to get it extended now. I will try to do so explaining the situation of my country because my passport will expire soon.
I requested GCMS twice last year, not again. Call center agents continue to say the same, no updates, security not started and review required. no more comments. I will request GCMS again today and continue waiting.
Also just raised a CSE trying to explain my situation, hoping for an answer other than "Some applications take more than others"
It is just so upsetting that we applied we a lot of time, a year ago and still waiting and at this point is out of my hands.
Yes. Do everything in your hands. Apply to extend your work permit, request GCMS, raise CSE explaining your situation.
And don’t worry too much about the status they give you in the phone.
I was told by my MP office “nothing was changed in my file”, my notes indicated no one had touched my file since april, criminality in progress, security not started. And after 2 wewks everything was passed.
You will be approved. Mine took 11.5 months.
It is well guys. Do keep hope alive even though it is difficult. It will pass

Officer had question marks on salary account not showing the name of the company, also company doesnt have an online presence as it is an industry where fone contacts and b2b works.
Sent an LOE explaining these factors last week. Medicals expired yesterday but no update as per changes yet.
I trust only in Jesus to perfect what He started. It is well.

My mistake was to believe that if they needed any additional information, they would ask for it. Big mistake. After 8 months of nothing happening, I decided to request GCMS notes, and then I found out they had concerns about my duties.
