EE Eligibility: Review Required Please Connect

Yes, I did. Since two of my Letters of Employment did not have detailed enough duties I was in Review Required. The time I worked for the companies on those letters was not accounted for, so points were deducted and the minimum score for the draw was not met. I sent two new letters of...

Don’t give up. You will get it. I think they are not able to handle the high volumes that have been accumulating. Additionally, it seems that there are too many “Review Required by an officer” and maybe not enough officers.

You are right. That timer is useless. It counts down 6 months from the AOR date, but if your application gets delayed or stucked at some point it won’t show. It is not an actual application specific tracker.

    Express Entry - CEC

@Wolfpmd3 First of all, people write here to be advised, not to be scolded. As I understand, @VedhaVyas sent a new letter because in the GCMS notes the RR refers to a letter of employment. Many of us have done the same, and been approved. It just takes longer if your file is in Review...

I think you should send another letter for the 3rd job which includes job responsibilities. Chances are you will be put in Review Required if you don’t, delaying the process of your application.

You are right. What I meant is that the fact that the response to a Web Form says “if we need more information we will let you know” doesn’t mean that you are not in Review Required.

As you mentioned, it is a generic response. If the application is in Review Required they won’t let you know in this way. The only way to know the actual status of the application is through GCMS notes.

The same happened to me. The person in the MP office (Adam Vaughn) did not do any effort to get additional or useful information. I quit asking for their support.

Renewing your BOWP will give you some relief. I think agents should have either more training or empowement (or both). They mark everything “Review Required” so officers must have long queues of applications for review. My application took 335 days which I felt like 670. Patience...

Can you ask your company to provide a Letter of Employment which includes your tenure, position, roles and responsibilities, annual or monthly salary, etc? The salary information plus other benefits must be included in the LOE!

It’s really hard to know what works. As IRCC says, each case is different and that is true. My application was approved 2 months after I sent LOE with duties.
