Same here....my hubby is the primary applicant and he did not apply for the OWP(out of status)....so he spends his time ubering myself and my kids around and cleaning the house. I refresh the website constantly checking for updates. He is much more patient than i am.

I noticed someone in August got the eligibility email...which is great news.
Aww I hope you guys hear good news soon and everyone else who is waiting including me

Glad to see some movements with the August applicants! Ours will be just around the corner so I added 2 new columns in our Timeline Sheet for our Sponsor's eCAS Status Update from "In process" to "Application Received" dates, and Principal Applicant's eCAS Status Update to "We started processing your application" dates where you can enter yours and compare it with others'.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1WXmKcCOlbciwCa33-vKs8LqbKxOIar2PzSN7j4xBxEg/edit#gid=600561589

Why did I add these 2 columns? Because the 1st one will tell us how close we are from getting the Sponsor Approval (SA).
And the 2nd one will tell us the date that CIC started reviewing the eligibility of the Principal Applicant, which will later transition in to Approved in Principle (AIP) and Decision Made (DM).

Both information will be shown only on eCAS (cannot be retrieved through GCKey or the IVR) without any email notifications; so keep your eyes peeled for the next 2 to 4 weeks on eCAS ;)

Makes me so sad I have no ECAS access.

Congrats to all September applicants. Looks like things are moving quickly for you all!

Anyway, thought this would be a good place to ask if any of you are still waiting on OWP decisions, or had to wait an extra bit longer over four months for one. I ask because I'm an October applicant and it's been slightly over four months since I submitted my OWP... and I have yet to hear any news. According to my GCKey, they still haven't even begun to review my eligibility, which is frustrating since I'm seeing many November applicants already getting their applications approved. (No animosity toward Novembers -- very happy for them!) Merely wanted to see if anyone a month before me had experienced something like this. Thanks.

I believe your application was physically delivered on Oct 26 so you still have 2 more days until it hits the full 4-month mark and it is still too early to say if there is an issue yet as I've seen a few applicants got their approval on the day of or a week past their 4th month.

As you could see it in my timeline in the signature line, mine is under secondary review - most likely randomly selected according to the Call Centre agent as they do pick a few applicants periodically here and there. Let's hope that's not the case for you. Keep me updated please

I figured I was maybe getting needlessly nervous, but I was seeing others with similar timelines (and much later) get their OWPs approved. I also wondered if the real date that mattered was the actual reception date or the one posted on GCKey. Your reply is a sobering reminder to chill out a little, haha. I'll for sure let you know what happens with my application.

As for your case, ouch, that really stinks. Hoping that the secondary review doesn't take too long. People need to move on with their lives...

Who has submitted additional documents as requested by CIC? We had to submit a new copy of my husband's passport, and I sent it through the webform on Feb. 4. On our account it still says "your action is required" and that they are waiting for the documents. Does this sound like a normal length of time? We got an initial receipt from the webform stating that our documents were accepted and forwarded to the corresponding office.

Did the request for additional documents come via the GCKey account? If yes, did you try submitting through that?

I mailed in my father's documents on Jan 28 and the online account showed them as received on Feb 1.
