I got PPR earlier in my dreams twice, so I am still not sure if I'm not dreaming this time

I understand the overwhelming feeling (experienced same) of getting a PPR early in the morning after a 6 months wait. Breathe !!

Caution: Try not to venture out in open soon, you might stumble/start dancing on the streets .

Ya I also got confused with the notes. The second page clearly says "Review Required" however, in the last pages case analyst says "Review Required MI3, please look into the funds, FSW/Funds requirement : Appears met"

Unfortaunately, this is another generic message but just so you know I got this same response and a few days later, I got a response that a decision has been made on my file. So hang in there and stay positive.

6 months elapsed on 18th Feb. I called them and they informed me that
Eligibility - completed
Background Check(Criminality and Security) - not started
Last Update in my account - 28th Sept
VO: Ottawa

How long should the background check take? any idea? I have never ordered any notes.

I emailed them regarding a completion date and their response was on the following lines:
Please be informed that your application is currently in queue for review by an officer. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide you with a date on which your file will be reviewed. No additional documents required.

What should I be expecting? Please guide. Thanks.

Same scenario here. They told me my application requires additional verification and can’t say, when will it be over. I have applied for CBSA notes to confirm their statement.

Hey , we share the same timeline. No updates since medical passed on 8th Sept. Got to know from the agent that ,

Eligibility - Met
Crimanality/ Security - Not started.

Even added that , he cannot follow up the analyst till 19th May 2019 , as mentioned by the analyst on the application.

No one knows for sure. You can't refute claims if you don't have the evidence to show otherwise. You can infer/assume like we all do but please don't sound like you know it all and whatever anyone else says is false. Except you want to tell us you're working for CIC now and have got all the inside information.

Dear all, we absolutely have no idea about the inner working of CIC. The call/CSE/GCMS etc. may be just a coincidence with PPR or may really have an impact. We will never know for sure unless we come to work for CIC, and I hope someday I come across somebody who does so that I can ask him/her about this.
But I do know this though. Many have reported that call agents promise to put a note on their applications. So I won't be so fast to dismiss all of their claims, just as I won't be so fast to dismiss @charlene007 's belief. Cheers!

Since your BG is already in progress , so that means your eligibility came out clean and most likely is passed given the duration from 30th Nov. The most likely explanation for " in queue for review" is that your security check results are available and an officer just need to pick your file to give a closure. But since security results for many folks would have been available earlier than you , so your file is waiting for its turn.
Just hang on for few more days , if nothing happens call them again and raise a CSE too.
You can also order GCMS notes if not already done ,just to know exactly what took them so long.
But I believe your file is up for final review.
