Hello Guys,
AOR-16th august, only medical passed in the status online. I called CIC half an hour ago and the officer told me that my file was approved two days ago. Any idea how long it takes to get the golden email aftr the approval

Hey sounds like good news bro! At least you got some response regarding your file. May I know if it is the call agent? On Feb 6 I emailed Ottawa and got a reply which, I believe, every case that has passed 6 months receives. "Your file is in queue for review by an officer"

Congratulations to you. It seems the call agent did what they are suppose to do to an application/call when its 6 months old. Consider yourself very lucky as it doesn't happen very often.

that was a coincidence @gau55555. Call agents don't influence PPRs or Ghist updates or IP2s.
His PPR was already scheduled to be issued with the rain that happened this morning.

No one knows for sure. You can't refute claims if you don't have the evidence to show otherwise. You can infer/assume like we all do but please don't sound like you know it all and whatever anyone else says is false. Except you want to tell us you're working for CIC now and have got all the inside information.

If calling CIC agents or ordering GCMS notes fast tracked PPRs, why will anyone be waiting months after doing all of the above. You can believe whatever you want, but stop spreading false info.
And next time you want to counter a correction that someone makes, don't bring up "working for CIC", that just makes you sound ignorant.

Congrats! It is taking any where between few days to weeks. Just call them again next week or start mailing the VOs

And next time you want to counter a correction that someone makes, don't bring up "working for CIC", that just makes you sound ignorant.

Seems like the person has never called IRCC number. This message that agents don't influence decisions is literally played on the call. So, even if believing in IRCC is paramount then yes its IRCC's stand that calling agents doesn't influence the process. Sigh!

Tbh, I mostly ignore such silly claims of how calling agents or raising CSE's or ordering GCMS notes triggered PPRs, but it's becoming cumbersome explaining to people who do all of the above after reading some 'testimony' somewhere and still do not get their PPR that the claims are just not true.
And instead of this 'uncle' to just enjoy his PPR and his good luck., he decided to come lecture me.

Hey, wassup?! How u doin? Am hangin in tight Bru, trying hard n seeking every possible source to protect my peace . I have been told by the CIC agent that a decision would be made on my file by mid March, so until then every day feels like a year, every hour like a month and every minute like an hour. I so wish God shows us some mercy n showers down our pots asap.
