Got my GCMS notes, everything looks good but they haven't started my security check yet. Not sure how long it takes. I will cross the 6 months mark in 9 days, I doubt i'll get the PPR by then...ah well

My application hasn't moved beyond 'Medical Passed' since September. I know I have a conviction on file, but my FBI and India PCC is clear, because it was minor traffic violation and was never noted on public record. Could this be a reason for delay/ possible rejection? Can I do anything about it? I provided all documents of conviction/arrest as part of client information letter, when I first filed my application. My Security and Criminality status says 'Not Started'.
Please help!

Congrats! Your timeline? My AOR is 3 Aug and so far nothing yet. I do not have review required (found out from GCMS notes), quite frustrating.
AOR: August 30
Medical Passed: 3rd week Sep
Background in Process: 1st week Dec
Ghost Update: Feb 7
PPR: Feb 14
I'm sorry. Is there a mistake here, because "convicted" means you have a criminal court verdict on you, how can your PCC is clear? I'm not familiar with US legal system though, just general inquiry.
