I got hold of a helpful agent at the call centre during my second call on 8th Jan who told me over the phone. I've had no unprompted communication from IRCC since my meds were passed on 30th June last year. My portal page has looked exactly the same since then (with the addition of the no-progress bar).
No delay whatsoever, you're only required to inform IRCC of your change of circumstances (address), that will also result in your passports having to be sent to a different LVO for stamping.
Good luck with the process buddy! I’m under FSW-O so I am absolutely no authority. However, it doesn’t seem to matter what stream or class you are under, some roll through in 4 months, others wait 7 or 8.
Sorry to hear of the delay my friend! Reading some of the threads on here, I do wonder why people try to flip-flop with the system; give the information as accurately and throughly as IRCC ask for, and there's not much to be concerned of!
In theory yes, absolutely, but sometimes life's not quite that straightforward. As in my case, I explicitly requested the details from my employer as laid down by IRCC and my employer flat out refused to list job duties on the letter as it was against their policy. Who am I to change their policy?
Yes, I applied via CEC. My AOR was 12th August and I received PPR on 6th February, which was 6 days shy of my 6 month date.
Absolutely, I didn't word my original point quite right. It was more directed at those that attempt to cheat the system, rather than those like yourself that have no control over the outcome.
Ah that's interesting to know. Did you expect to have it come through quicker than it did, or have you always been of the mind that it'd be around 6 months?
