November 2018 Outland Applicants (Spousal Sponsorship)

Hello guys,

Just got an update today from CIC that my application is moved to CPC Mississauga for processing.

My timeline
Nov16th - App received
Jan 22nd - AOR1
Jan 30th - MR
Feb 1st - SA

Is it outland ? where is your PA from ?

It is more than 2 weeks since AOR an still no updates.

They are still working on your SA.

If you check the tracker and review the last couple of months, SA is taking anywhere between 1 day and 1 month. Patience is the key now

Yes Outland. PA is from India.

For those of us transferred from Sydney to Mississauga after MR, will it eventually be transferred to the local VO (Manila in my case)? I imagine it has to go to the local office eventually.

It depends. Some applications do not get transferred to the local VO anymore. If it does, it only takes a month or so to get PPR after being transferred to MVO. As what ive observed from PH apps.

May I know where do you check your status? In ecas or singin partner account? . I tried many times to link mu application in signin partner but every time says not found . Tried sponsor and even Principal applicant details but no use. Only way I check is ecas. In ecas it says decision made and sent correspondence, but I never received email on that . 2 days back they sent medicals. It is so frustrating tried different ways to link but no use.

Got SA approval today! medical a few days before that! So exciting!

Did you get email saying SA approval or you check in ecas or signin partner id ?

Try using Gckey instead and make sure u answer ‘2’ to how many people are in the file question ‘Principal Applicant and sponsor’

My SA approval and change in processing centre are all received via email.

We sent our application in late November bu just received our AOR.

Our new timeline is:
App received Sydney: Dec 10 2018
AOR: Feb 07 2019

I have sent application for outland spouse sponsorship in November. Here is timeline:

App received: Nov 7
Aor: Jan 16
I have also received biometrics fee request on Feb 7 and also received letter that I have met all requirements for eligibility as a sponsor.

Is it called SA which I often see on this forum. ?
Is it normal to get biometrics fee request but not biometrics request ?

IRCC asked to just pay fee and wait for correspondence about when and where to Done biometrics.

I linked my application via signin partner, but I got only medical request in my account.
My SA approval and change in processing centre are all received via email.

Onlince account will show you only PA details. all sponsor communication will be to the email
