Kitchener Office was closed today so I was not able to write my test. A bit disappointed as I was all ready and had taken time off from work, the office did not even send me a cancellation email so I had to drive all the way to the test location and find this out.
Waiting for a test reschedule email from them.

Yeah, sorry to hear that.. the weather sucked today. Hope you hear from them soon. May I ask, ehen did you apply please? I applied last May.

Hi everyone,

Just thought I might share my time line.

1. Application received - August 27, 2018
2. AOR sent - November 26, 2018
3. In process - December 5, 2018
4. Fingerprint request - January 15, 2019

That's where I stand now, I sent the fingerprints on January 21, 2019.

That's very fast!! Mine was received on May 25, 2018. They sent me a correspondence for fingerprints.. had it done on November 28, sent it same day. I've called several times, the agents tell me that I passed the test each time. And that, If May 25, 2019 comes around and I still don't hear nothing, only then, I should call them back. The wait is killing me. Lol

I think our timelines are very similar @iamluz
App received - May 25, 2018 and Finger print request dated Nov 19, 2018. Had it done the next day and confirmed with CIC staff on the phone that they have received it (passed) on Dec 3, 2018. Nothing after that. Was told test invite could be 3-4 months.

My application was received at the end of January 2018 more than a year from now. Fingerprints were done in August.

Thank you. Still have to pass the pesky test thought!

After the change - benefited from both the lower year requirement and recognition of 1 year max of residence prior to PR. I don't even believe I would be eligible now under the old system.
