Same day i got additional docs request as well. I exited Oman on 30.11.2017 but got my Police Certificate on 21.11.2017 so they asked me to submit new Police Certificate for Oman. It means all processes like , MEP, background check, eligibility check are going on in parallel...congrats , at least some movement

Yes, very interesting, indeed. @Popat, can you please elaborate on the specifics of your application? What was your IP1 date? You say FSW-Outland in your signature - where are you a citizen and resident of? Were you required to provide biometrics?
I am Indian citizen; currently in USA.
My background status changed from NA1 to IP2. I just received MEP last night. No biometrics required for us.
Yes, we've known of a bias towards Indian citizens applying from the US vs. India; there is evidence of it on MyImmiTracker. However, @USProgrammer is a US citizen with an AOR of Dec 1, so this bias apparently doesn't hold true for all US residents.
