The agent told me today that our application was returned on January 25th, and we still haven't received it!

Us was returned 18th. Worst!

Mine was returned 28th Nov (annoyingly a signature was missed even though it was signed electronically, but they wanted ink signed too, even though it didn't say that on the form) had to apply to restore my status, $200 later that was done and sent the PR and OWP application back the same day as well (rec'd 29th Nov in Mississauga)

Got my status restored today for the year I asked for
Got my application number for PR as well, linked application too...today is a good day!

So I just got my visitor visa extension approved until July 06th that I applied for in November (just in case app was returned etc and didn't make it back in time etc). Does that mean I could go for a cheeky weekend trip to the states while my PR is being processed?

I was given 1 year visitor record...
But I will wait for my work permit before going out of country just to be safe.

I have noticed people getting their medicals kind of concerned how long do i have to wait for my Medical Request?

My app is being sent back... just got of the phone with IRCC...
Only info I have is that it was missing info...
I could not submit a marriage certificate as we had not received one before we submitted. I included an explanation and a screenshot of my purchase order as well as tracker stating it wasnt completed processing by date of submission. I'm guessing this wasnt suffice unless I missed something else.

The only good thing is that the tracker is showing they completed my marriage certificate Jan 14 and it was sent out to me. So if that is the only thing missing, I should have it by the time I receive the application back.

I will now have to apply for restoration of status as PAs Visa expired in December.

Anything else I may need to do before resubmitting?

I guess now I will be in January group

We are in a similar situation as yours . The cic agent told us yesterday that our application got returned on 25th Jan, due to incomplete application. Did you receive your application back ? What was the reason ?

From timelines I've seen it seems that they send MR about month or two after AOR...

Yes, the application # starts with F. The UCI is the same for both of you. The sponsor will be able to track using CIC, you'll be able to track using GCKey.

I have had UCI and my status on CIC shows same UCI.
But there was different UCI on the AOR.
So I was worried if somethings wrong.
