Yes of course if you are signing your application in 2018, you have to count taxes filed in the last five years i.e. 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. But if you sign your application in 2019, then 2018 will be considered.

That is not accurate. Even if u are applying in jan of 2019 it is not necessary that u have already done your taxes for 2018 as the deadline for 2018 taxes is april 30 2019.

You still have to mention 2018 if you are submitting your application in Jan 2019 (last five years list). You have put yes for 'Required to fill' and put no for 'did not file'.

I took my pictures at COSTCO and also forgot the print my name on them. Would this result in my application being returned? Has anyone else had this experience ?

This is a great idea. I did the same. It makes sense to do so as the IRCC will pull the same report directly from CBSA and compare it with the report you submit with your application. When you go to your interview, they will identify any discrepancies between the two reports as well as with visa stamps in your passport. They seek a complete harmony between these 3 sources, down to the day count.

If you have spent a lot of time or have a lot of entries/exits into the US, they will also ask you to make a US freedom of information act request for your US entry/exit report and submit to them as well.

Sorry to say this , but yes most likely it will be returned as Incomplete as its one of the requirement

Did you guys notice that the application version has changed sometime in late December ?
I am wondering if there ppl in this form that have sent the application with prior version(June 2018) in Jan second week like me
I am feeling that my application will be returned due to this !!!

It might or might not get return...I have come across some other forums for 2018 apps that forgot to put name behind pic but still got AOR
