We have a paid representative and he ordered the notes and reviewed them. I do not have access to GCKey because its linked to our representative's portal and he would update us every 2-3 months or if there is an update with the file.

Edit: (Add Inquiry): Since I have a paid representative, if I request for GCMS notes and send a consent form signed by my wife, will this overwrite the consent form sent by our representative if we ask him to request an ATIP on our behalf? The reason why I don't want to ask my representative is because he charges 150+ dollars per hour for each inquiry even though we have already paid 4.5k to him.
Oh my gosh !! That’s a lot of money . I have a representative as well , he doesn’t charge anything if I inquire .
And I paid half of what u have already paid him.
How good is he ? Does he have a 100% success rate ?

Oh my lord !
Guys why are u hiring representatives and waste the money ! U only need a professional help if u have red flags in ur case !! That’s all !!
In our case we filled the file and then assigned a SC who offered complimentary services to help review it and we have our MP in case if we encounter any emerg.!!

I don't think he is that good since we have been asked twice by IRCC to provide additional information that he did not include in the application despite my instructions to include it. His words were based on his experience the MVO responded negatively when those information was included. I hired a representative because our file is complex and requires someone who knows what they are doing to get my wife here to Canada within the 12 months processing time.

I find that my representative is just in it for the money and I find arguing with him most of the time because he refuses to follow what I tell him. He also charges for every freaking question I ask so I do not bother. Waste of money and I will file a complaint to the Consulting Regulatory board once my wife is here.

I am looking to sponsor my spouse from US, does anyone recommend any good lawyer/consultant in Toronto area? Is it advisable to go through a lawyer or consultant?

I would have but his asylee status is still pending in US so i was wondering if his status would make the case any complicated and advisable to go through a lawyer?

I have recently noticed the application status changed to "Decision Made" but there is no new updates on application status since medical is approved. Also, I don't see any update on my online account.
Can anyone share from their experience when should I except to see an update? And is this a normal that application status changed to "Decision Made" without any confirmation?

Thanks!

After medical its usually BGC, however, if the Visa office is not asking for additional info or has not started BGC, you can try requesting for GCMS Notes to see what concerns, if any, the Visa officer has.

Hi guys

Please advise ..

Our application got transferred to LVO in July and we have not heard anything since then !! Is that normal ?
In our gckey account it says : your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your BGC .

I don’t understand!! They have not started our BGC until now ??????

Should I contact our MP ?
Should I order GCkey notes ?
