A friend of mine was in the same situation as you and it was bothering him. He basically called the CIC agents and described the spam folder problem. The lady on the phone asked him to confirm his last communication received from IRCC and she cross-checked with her data and confirmed the same. Incase they had sent something and it got deleted in spam folder the agent can request the VO to resend it to you. So i suggest give them a call.
Btw my friend got his COPR as well post all this.
Yes, the only thing that has changed since day 1 was Biometrics and Medical, which were both updated the day they were completed.Interesting, so yours still shows as it was IP1?
Thanks gau for the reply. One thing intrigues me. Is the number +1(613) listed on CIC official website ? I tried finding it but cud'nt get it there. Please correct me if i missed something. No, its not mandatory, though if you try to call with your Service provider, the call charges may burn a hole in your pocket. the wait time goes till 35-40 minutes.
yes this number works.. you just need to be lucky.. if too many people are calling then you won't get an agent.. else you will get a wait time of about 30-40 minutes..Friends... I have a doubt reg. the CIC agents' contact number +1(613)9444-000 which I got somewhere in this forum only.
I searched for this number on CIC official website but it's not listed anywhere on https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/contact-ircc/client-support-centre.html .
Is this number official and credible ? Please let me know if i am missing something here.

Same situation AOR 19th August 2018Hi, I spoke to an IRCC agent today and he told me that my eligibility is still getting reviewed, and the background check hasn't started yet.
My AOR date is 6th August 2018, application being processed in CPC - Ottawa.
Just 27 days left to reach the 6 months mark. Can anybody help me understand why they haven't moved past the eligibilty stage yet?
Have ordered the GCMS notes through getgcms today.
Your such reply gives Ray of hope to get that long awaited email soonThank you! I'm sure your PPR is coming soon
No, i never got any ghost update throughout the processing time.
We have the same VO, except that we have recommended passed. Let's keep each other appraised. Not yet. Review required recommendation was marked by case processing agent.
Recommended pass, waiting for final remarks? Security not started? We have the same VO, except that we have recommended passed. Let's keep each other appraised.
Not really. Everything is not started and this info is not as of now. The agent told me nothing had been started but the CPA's recommendations were all positive. Other than that, nothing. The VO doesn't respond to our E-Mails. We only wanted to know "by when" we can expect a decision so that we could sell the house and submit resignations and so on (2 months notice period), we have no problem with waiting.Recommended pass, waiting for final remarks? Security not started?
I'm no expert but I think you should submit an LOE explaining why your self-declared NOC is the correct one. Each industry is different and the agent may not be familiar with yours.Hey guys,
I just received my gcms notes. And i’m quite worried about the case analyst recommendation for my experience!

Can someone please help me understand the statement of the case analyst regarding my work experience. ( fyi i’m 100% sure my duties match noc6221 and not noc 6552) is there a course of action i need to take to tackle this situation.
I was also able to connect with an agent this afternoon and she told me that my medical is passed and everything else is in progress. Nothing else.
Any help is much appreciated!
