If someone’s application has exceeded normal processing time of 19 month for PNP PR. It’s been 22 months. Also, that someone had a child a year ago who is a Canadian citizen but didn’t inform IRCC. What should they do? Should they inform ASAP? Any thoughts please? Asking for my friend.

Yes, inform asap of births, marriage, address changes, etc.

The estimated time my application will be fully processed in March 2019. If between now and then, I accept a new teaching position work-wise while keeping my current job (employee) in parallel, does CIC need to know? I applied through express entry as a skilled worker (federal) and my application is not tied to a job or a provincial nomination. Is there any information I need to share with CIC in case I took the job?

Hi , I am new to this thread however I have been following this thread & topics for a while.
I am a PNP inlnad applicant for PR , Its been already 16 month after I have sent application to case processing center.

Last week CIC call center agent told me that my assessment has been completed including security waiting for Final decision. I had a ghost update on December the 6th & I believe that was for probably security complete update.

If anyone could tell me how long & when I should be expecting PPR ??

Hello I wanna ask about my application because its going to be 19 months this coming monday and when I submitted my application I payed everything and passed all the requirements they need and I had no problem in my application since but I was wondering why my application taking too long? Can anyone know why whats wrong with my application? I called also the agent in CIC they said everything is good and I dont have any problem and just wait? but I was wondering why its like that? Can anyone explain me the reason? I read this forum and I dont think I have a problem at all for my application.

If you cannot identify any issues, call again in a week or so, and say clearly that you are calling for information because it has been past the processing time, and ask if the security has been finished, or what is the deadline, in case it didn't. Some agents are nicer and you may get lucky if you try every week, especially if you have a permit that is expiring, they may be inclined to indirectly tell you that you should not worry about the permit, as telling the PR is coming soon.

Just chill out. My bg check took one year sharp, and during that time they kept telling me the exact same thing - everything is ok, we have no control over the security check procedure. Even though I think it's unfair, I'd suggest to be prepared for the worst case scenario and just wait.

Yep, I think you could just try the above, wait a bit longer and then call, b/c if they didn't request any additional docs (which adds up +/- 2 to the 19 months), and Background/Security is not done, there is nothing you or them can do.

They just informed you what you need to know, that unfortunately, it is going to take longer. Plan ahead for permit extensions.
