My application was received on May 5th 2017 (20 months ago!) and You are still checking whether I meet the eligibility requirements as shown in my account ... No comment ! This is nothing but carelessness from the staff.

I got married after submitting my application to a Canadian citizen, submitted my Marriage certificate and my wife's passport ID page copy, anything else needed?
What can I do to get them:
1- Agree about my "eligibility" (I did Masters at UBC in Electrical Engineering, graduated and worked immediately for a high tech US company in BC, Microsemi Corp) Everything is documented ...
2- My account still says, we are reviewing your additional documents you have sent. I sent those 6 months ago ... how to speed this up?
3- Background check (I won't argue about it)
And after this unknown period I'll have to wait, Will I start counting again for Citizenship while others just got their PR in 2 months and are now citizens? or are you going to include those years (which was not my fault)
