PASSPORT TO CPC OTTAWA - AUGUST 2018

Hi, I got received an email to submit my passport. Bthe address is a.PO box number. UPS says they cannot print a return label in case of PO box number. They need a physical address. Jas someone experienced this?

So this is my application timeline
Applied :29th of November
Passport request:30th of November
Passport got to cpc Ottawa: 10th of December ( Canada post strike delay)
I have to travel on the 20th. Please any suggestions on what I can do to make it faster?

MyCIC status updates to approved: August 21
Return tracker activated: August 22
COPR delivered: August 29

Yay! My package got held up for 2 days at customs and I was originally told they were going to send it back to CPCO, but it ended up making it through.

Hello, late late reply to your post, but if you are still around, could you please tell me what what courier you used? Was it UPS? My passports are stuck with UPS with no updates on the tracking number. Should I be worried?

I used Canada post. Even when on strike they didn’t hold my passport for long. Contact your courier and ask where it is

I used USPS to send my documents from the US to Canada and FedEx to ship from Ottawa to the US. Honestly, I was super anxious the whole time, especially with USPS on the way up since they barely update their tracking, but things made it through. Bear in mind we also just passed through the holiday period, so mail sent during this period is bound to be delayed given the high volume and fewer business days (UPS does not work on 12/31 and 1/1).

Has anyone recently sent passports to CPC Ottawa for PR? I got the email asking for our passports on Feb 13th, 2019, sent them on Feb 14th and were received by Feb 15th, 2019. So far I haven't heard back from them. Should I contact them to check the status?

I recently sent to Ottawa and below is the timeline. They usually say that it takes 2 weeks for everything to complete and return your passport. Check you CIC account if your application is approved yet or not. I would say wait till tomorrow before panicking.

Passport Sent- Jan 29
Passport Deliverer - Jan 31
Email on Photo Issue - Feb 5
Sent New Photo - Feb 6
New Photo Delivered - Feb 8
Application Approved - Feb 15
Return Tracker Activated - Feb 19
Passport Delivered - Feb 20

I sent my passport feb 8 2019 recieved at mailroom Ottawa feb 12 until now nothing so confusing some of here recieved at feb 15 their passport get it back already what's going on
