I soft-landed on 4 Sep, received photo request mid October for all family members - sent them and they received (based on Canada Post tracking) on 31Oct. raised a portal request for status and on 20-Dec they mentioned they are on cases where photo request was received on 22Oct. Does anyone have any updates since then? Frustrating - has been a 4 month long wait since landing.

Same here. Landed on 18 Sep. Photos delivered 27 Nov. They are ***king still processing photos upto 22 October. Since a month now.

I talked to call centre agent today and she told me pr card has been approved and it is in production but when I check online in my account it still says submitted. I got ghost update on Dec 29. How long it takes to get status updated and card get mailed?? Anyone has experienced????

That's a great news. a week or so more for you now max. What's the landing date and photo delivery date (if any)

My wife landed on Nov 18, 2018 and got ghost update on Dec 29. I hope she don't get photo request and gets approved soon

I got my COPR. I already got landed. I need to go to my home country for an emergency. Is it ok to travel by road cross the canadian border get into US and take an international flight and come back to US and again travel to Canada by road. Will they let me in? Did anyone experienced? I have US visiting visa

Hi Dhoni. If the urgency is needed you need to fill up a form and submit to them, for this request you need to provide a very big reason why you need an urgent request process of your PR card along with the documents, the less documents - the less approval however.

As I have noticed, from the landing date, the approval takes 60 days exactly in the system and mailed after a week, so probably yours gonna be delivered max this Friday or Monday next week.

According to source, mail and dispatch date is the approved date of your PR Card which is exactly 60 days. So add 5 working days for the delivery of your card.
