I went to India on Nov 16th. I did not receive the PR card at that time, so I applied for PRTD at Bangalore. I returned to Canada on 17th December and called IRCC for an update, I was surprised when they said the photos are approved but they lost my address for some reason. I got my address updated and the application is in approved state now. I guess it will take 2 weeks for the card to be delivered due to the holidays.

Hello,

Wg
Wonder if it is okay to call them to ask about my status on a regular basis (such as, once a week?) Because I have no access to my file since my account is being handled by my immigration consultant.
The only way to know whether it is approved or not is to call and ask to CIC. When I called 2 weeks ago, the agent told me I got a photo request for myself so I submitted the new photo and according to the tracking note, they received my photo a week ago. I really wonder if my new photo is okay now. I am going to my home country in mid January.
Hello,
What's the processing time for PRTD?

Hello,
Please let me know what s the processing time to get PRTD in india

I just received a request for new pictures. Landed on November 17. This is bullshit

It seems that this is happening to a lot of people. What could be the reason for so many picture requests?
I’m wondering if the pictures attached to the CoPRs are falling off or being misplaced. I got my pictures taken by an IRCC approved professional photographer (his shop is even a block away from CPC Sydney) and I measured the pictures myself before submitting them with my passport so I know they were according to the requirements.
