I am applying for CanadianCvisa online from India. I applied for visitor visa for an academic conference on 23rd november. My flight is on 28th December to Canada. On CIC website, my application is being processed. I have no idea at what stage it is. I am not sure until what date should I wait for their answer. Or else, whether should i request for an emergency service or something through web form. If I should, then when should I do it?

1. It's not a good idea to book tickets before a visa is granted.
2. You applied too late.
3. There is no emergency processing
4. You can request for an expedited decision only after your application passes the estimated processing time on the IRCC website.
5. Even if you get a passport request this week, you'll need to factor in passport transmission (7-10 days) + Christmas holidays
