Common law visa help

Hey guys

Hoping you can help me out here. So I'm currently here from Ireland on a 2 year work visa that ends in Jan 2019 (Not long left) i applied for a common law visa with my Canadian girlfriend but I haven't heard anything about my visa and with time not on my side I don't know what to do. Can I apply for some kind of bridging visa

What do you mean by "applied for a common law visa"? Do you mean that she sponsored you for permanent residency? If so, did you apply through the inland (inside of Canada) or outland (outside of Canada route)? When did you apply? If inland, did you include an open work permit with the application?

Yeah sorry she's sponsoring me. I applied inland and I included an open work permit too with my application

They recieved my application on the 2nd of November

The open work permit will be approved approximately four months after this date. So you're likely looking at the start of March.
