Are you guys actively checking the client application status online?
AOR is the emailing acknowledgement right?
When you enter the UCI number online for status check, do you enter with a dash '-'? eg. ****-****

Yes, AOR acknowledges receipt of your application and that it's eligible for processing.
No need to check ECAS until about 7 days after you receive the AOR. And no dashes in UCI.

Fingers crossed for AORs today guys!!

Processing times and averages wont be affected because there's no entries in the fields for applications that have been returned.
What do you think would not be accurate if these entries stay on the sheet?
In July total applications are 118 and out of that AOR Colum is blank for 19 applications and it is showing 84% completete where as out of 19 blank few applications are returned . therefore 84% complete is wrong as it should be more %

That's simply based on the fact that users have not reported AORs. If every user was to report AORs and returned applications, the overall percentage would show how many applications have successfully gotten to the AOR stage for processing.
It's therefore imperative that even returned applications stay on the sheet in order to show how many applications for each month have been returned.

Say every other user reports back tomorrow with a date for AOR. That only leaves 6 applications that have been returned. Say there were 100 applications for July, with 6 being returned to the applicant and all other 94 successfully received the AOR.
This would show 94% in the AOR column which is true and reflects the fact that 6% have not received the AOR and have been returned.

Hey...

I called CIC today and they mentioned they are processing August 28th applications.

Thanks

when application is returned and resent then it becomes part of the month in which it has resent and has no relevance in original month. I did n't understand your point . if application is returned it should be part of the month in which it was resent otherwise data of current month is skewed for no reason...
