Hi Guys,

Today i received my notes as i was getting very impatient after 180 days of no news.

What I saw in the file is that Eligibility : Not Met and my work entire work history has been rejected.

I spoke to a law firm and they said , the reason might be , there was no mention of full time/ part time/ etc or work hours in the experience certificates.

As in most cases in India these things are not mentioned in Experience certificates. it only mentions the designation, basic sal drawn and tenure.

As am in Canada already, someone told me the local MP's office can help.

Am open to suggestions, should i go with a law firm or the MP's office to pursue my case.

Also a bit disturbed, in 180 days didnot get info of submitting some other docs if the original docs are not sufficient enough.

Thanks
Maybe it was set like that by the case analyst and after it’s reviewed by the visa officer you will get an ADR asking to provide further info about the matter... Sorry to hear that happened to you... are you in IP2 already or stuck at IP1?

Did you have any issues previously with your Marriage Certificate or was your WP refused? If yes, would be ideal to explain the scenario and submit a clarification letter to CIC using webform asap.

Thanks for the response. Yes Spouse was refused previously as the marriage was done by Proxy. However, upon knowing the issue we re-initiated the marriage process. I have already explained that when submitted the application. I am not sure if I should submit the explanation now or should wait for them to come back with specific information/documentation they need. However, I do not know they will contact me or will come to conclusion by themselves without even asking further.

Hi,

I have submitted the payslips, joining letters but none mentioned work hours / day.
Please don't take me otherwise buddy but I have worked with 4 employers in India. Payslips do mention the number of days worked / offer letters do mention the required number of hours you will be required to work.

And in my opinion, only you can help yourself in such a situation. A law firm will only make the most from you in such a situation and will deal with it like any other case. Going through MP office might help but sooner you can get proof of workdays and hours from previous employers and submit to CIC better it would be.

As you can read from other cases on this forum, it is at the discretion of the Visa office to seek additional documentation or reject the application without asking for any clarification. Play it safe! Prevention is always better than cure. There is no harm in explaining your case in a detailed letter specifically regarding your marriage by Proxy and submitting a webform asap.

Hi everyone

My AOR is May 23 (CEC). I am currently in IP2 since end of September. 2 weeks ago I wrote to IRCC for an update and here is there reply:

"Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We verified the information you provided and can confirm that a decision has been made on the application. Rest assured that the responsible office will contact you by mail or email to provide you with that decision."

I received this 9 days ago and so far nothing has been updated on my account and I have received no emails. Is this normal? I am worried I may have missed an email or they sent it to the wrong email?
Hello, do you mind to tell me how to contact with IRCC? Could you tell me the email address fo the IRCC? Thank you

I think it is a problem about your job letter. Try to list all the duties of 2171 and approve your job is currently marched with 2171 not 2174
Thanks drandyeros for your reply. The problem is I had ADR request for my NS PNP nomination in March and I provided the explanation with job duties matching 2171 and finally it was approved and I received an ITA after that.

My concern is how/why did they look at 2174 as NOC because it was nowhere mentioned as per my knowledge in my application. I really wish there was way to contact them and correct that.

Thanks again,
V

Can you please let me know how to contact CIC (IRCC)? My AOR is 25th May and I am in IP2 since July and have some concerns about the details in the GCMS notes.

I will greatly appreciate it.

Hi,

You are right on the no. of working days in the sal slip part. But what i missed is sending in the format mentioning whether it was a Full time permanent job/ no. of working hours and a brief of my roles and responsibilities matching with the NOC.

Went to the MP office, they called IRCC. understand i have to reapply. hence was thinking to be doubly sure this time with my docs and go through a law firm.

Thanks.
