Another question, for photo and signature image upload, can we take these photos ourselves or should be done on studio.
It should be done from Studio because you have carry same photos when you go to bls to submit you application, and the photo specification is different for OCI application.
You can take and upload photo yourself provided it meets specifications. If in doubt, get the photo in studio as per specs and upload the soft copy.

I have submitted my application on 2nd Oct, 2018 and till today I have not received my original documents as well as AOR. Its almost 3 weeks for documents to reach at BLS. I am hoping I should have got my documents back by this time.
Did you try calling them asking for update on your application and reason for not receiving your originals back?

I had called BLS international but got the regular answer that It is being processed and will update site once they will receive the documents from the consulate.
I will give them a call again today to check. Thanks

As I can see it shows procesed on 17th Oct .. But The dispatched date is still not available. Normally i have seen in all forums the dispatch is the very next day but i still do not see a date after 1 week. Could something be wrong ? I am travelling to India next month and need the OCI. Wondering who i can call or talk to to find the status. I called the BLS office and they said they cant do anything and i should wait. Please let me know your thoughts.

Hey guys, my status on BLS website for OCI also changed to "Counter Delivery to BLS Centre after OCI stamping". Anyone know what this means ? Is it ready for pickup ? I didn't opt for courier.

Yes. It should be ready for pickup. Make sure to call them to confirm though.
Thanks! Just called and they confirmed it is ready for pick up. I'm surprised that the dispatch and delivery date took 2 days. I was expecting at least a week.

When we upload our documents for new OCI application ,do we need to upload all the pdf files (other than Signature and photo) in one file ?
OR
do we need to upload each pdf file in its own category ?
I mean do we have different categories for uploading Passport , Address Proof ,Citizenship cert,Landing paper etc ?
OR do we need to make one PDF file for all the docs and upload one file ?
