I am the primary applicant, can a joint account (me and wife) with required amount be acceptable for proof of funds?
My wife is accompanying me to Canada.

If your have enough average balance in the bank certificate. Are bank statements still needed?Hello experts.. We have 3 bank accounts in the same bank where my husband deposits his salary. One in USD and other 2 in PKR. We have enough average balance in our USD account. My husband is asking if we need 3 bank certificates for all 3 accounts or just the USD one will do? Coz we have 3 accounts in the same bank, same branch.
We don't owe anything to the bank, coz its an Islamic bank, so no credit cards
Kindly advise @cansha
no, i think not. Im just concerned about my other accounts with the same bank.If your have enough average balance in the bank certificate. Are bank statements still needed?
Which ever account meets and is above the minimum amount required by IRCC will be fine. So as long as USD a/c does that for yaa go ahead and submit that and no need to include PKR oneHello experts.. I have been maintaining the minimum funds for 4 months now. Can maybe wait another month if that helps my case to be strongerno, i think not. Im just concerned about my other accounts with the same bank.
I think we r just supposed to submit the POF, that we can support ourselves financially after landing in Canada. They r not investigating our financial standing, but just need assurance that we have enough money and wont be a burden on them after the move. But let's wait for an expert to reply.
My bank does not issue a 6 month average balance certificate, so I will have to submit my bank statements. If your have enough average balance in the bank certificate. Are bank statements still needed?
Thanks for responding. Yeah, it's mentioned in my bank letter that the funds can be used once matured. However, I have not uploaded my FD certificate while submission, just the letter I received from bank with funds details, account opening dates and etc. as required by CIC. Will that be a problem? It is okay in case of FD. Make sure the maturity date is mentioned on the FD certificate. One guy is in review required as they could not see the FD maturity date. Or get a letter from bank that these funds are readily available to you as you can break the FD if you want to.
