Today, Call center told me even if my App passed one year, I have to wait for more 2 to 3 months to call them again. Very disappointed

I did get my ATIP. It says I have passed everything except prohibition. I contacted the Citizenship center in Vancouver and quote " the external partner has not completed the background check and we have no estimate on how long it would take."
I know couple of people tried MP and it didn't do any good neither. IRCC responded to their MPs the same thing.
My conclusion is we just have to be patient and not to lose our sanity.

Patience is the key here my friend ! I went through same but it's frustuating but there isn't much you can do. So take it easy

Exactly , I am a 14 month applicant . I call them several times, unfortunately nothing changed. Still in process and still probation is not done. Just be patient.

same here called and they told me external partner has not completed the background check. this process wasn't fair. we need to go throw extream background check but other people don't.

Lot of things are not fair in this earth. You born in a family which helped you get education, come to canada etc. You could simply born in a family that has nothing , in sudan, middle of the war. Every person's circumstances are different. Still one third of adult man go for arrange marriage. They check their future wife's color, size , education etc. Do you think thats fair?

Only had two visits to back home.. but they did request -last April - stamp translations for trips I did back in 2009
